In short, whenever you appear to have an unstable approach the best move is to go around and start over. Here, my IFD440 GPS didn’t flip from GPS to VLOC for my ILS approach and basically had me overshoot my turn to capture the localizer. While I had time to correct, going back around was the safest move.
